Update on the Hebraic Roots Version:

The HRV is now in print and some copies have been distributed.

Some of you have now seen copies of the HRV floating around the Messianic community at various recent conferences and perhaps in your local congregations. Many of you who made prepublication donations are now asking "where is my copy?"

If you made a prepublication donation and requested the HRV as an appreciation gift you will be receiving your copy soon.

As you all know these books were printed in India.

Those in the Eastern Hemisphere (Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia) are already beginning to receive their copies. However it will take time to get these all packaged and shipped, so please be patient.

Those in the Western Hemisphere (Canada, the USA, Mexico etc.) are still waiting for the books to arrive here from across the ocean. From the time schedule we were given by the printer we are expecting the books shipped by sea to be here around the end of September (very soon). (This is not a guarantee, we are simply passing on the time frame the printer has given us on the shipment.)

Some few persons have also take advantage of the rush airshipping option for new post-publication orders now that the HRV is in print. Their copies were airshipped from India at a higher shipping rate ($26). Many of these persons now have copies as well.

We will begin shipping prepublication requests within the Western Hemisphere as soon as the books arrive here. Please be patient, it will take a while to get all of these packaged and shipped. We will do our best to get them out as fast as we can.

Post-publication requests currently have a six to eight week delay worked into their shipping time. Those making requests for the book now that it is in print should receive it within six to eight weeks, unless they make a rush order and pay extra shipping.

If the HRV's arrive in time (as we hope they do) we will have a supply available at the following Sukkot events:

If you have an HRV on order you will NOT be able to pick it up at these events. There is no way for us to keep track of whose books have been distributed and whose have not and to know who has an outstanding order and who does not. Moreover we will only have room to bring a limitted supply with us to these events. If you have an outstanding order, your book will be shipped directly to you.

OK here is the news on the HRV shipping:

We have one advance copy here. We have taken pictures of it and they can be seen at the HRV website at HRV Pictures .

The majority of the HRV's are still in India where they were printed. We are having most of them shipped to us here in the USA by sea.

A small quantity (about 50) are being air-freighted out to us (at a premium) so that we will have at least a few copies for our literature table at the 4th Annual One Yisrael Knowing YHWH Conference in Bradenton, Florida, Near Tampa this July 28-August 1, 2004. (see http://www.uonyc.org/page.php?page=conference/2004 ). These copies are strictly for the table at this conference. If you have a pre-publication order for the HRV outstanding it will be shipped to you directly, but you cannot pick it up at this table.

Regarding the backlog of pre-publication orders:

If you are in the Eastern Hemisphere you will most likely get your HRV before those here in the West. To expidite the process of distribution we will be shipping books to those individuals and groups directly from India. You should *begin* recieving your books in two or three weeks.

Those of you here in the US, Canada and the rest of the Western Hemisphere should *begin* receiving your copies in six to eight weeks.

It will take a while to get all of these backlogged orders packaged and shipped, so please be patient, we are working as fast as we can.

Regarding Post-Publication new orders:

A new shipping system is being created for new orders now that we know what shipping costs will actually be.

We currently have two shipping options for the HRV:

Six to Eight Weeks: $10.00 Shipping and handling. This will ship to us by sea and then ship to you by priority mail.

Rush Order, About Two to Three Weeks: $26.00 shipping. This will ship directly to you from India.

This new shipping system will not be in place until about August 1st so if you order before then you should count your weeks from August 1st.

This shipping system will remain in effect until we build up a sufficient inventory of the Bibles here in the USA (hopefully about eight to ten weeks). Then we will be able to ship orders from our warehouse here in the USA with a faster turn around.

Shalom Achim,

Well we finally have some positive news to pass on to you all about the publication of the Hebraic Roots Version [Complete] Bible.

Based on a meeting we had with the printer today (technically yesterday since I am writing this after midnight) we can now say that HRV Bibles should begin shipping out by the end of June. This is based on verbal information that we expect to have in writing one day next week. However just because Bibles will begin shipping out by the end of June this does not mean that your Bible will arrive by the end of June or that yours will ship by the end of June. There are a lot of Bibles to ship so please be patient as we get them all packaged and shipped out as quickly as we can.

Also due to a change in plans we expect the Bibles will ship via UPS. UPS cannot ship to a PO Box so if you gave us a PO Box as an address we will be contacting you to get a street address for shipping (we may not contact you until closer to shipping time).

Since physical copies will soon be in hand we will soon be ending the prepublication offer of a minimum donation of $56.00 (in USA) (including shipping) and the regular minimum donation level of $75.00 (in USA) will soon go into effect. That offer will no longer be available as of June 1st 2004.

One other note: due to a change in the shipping arrangement, those who request or have requested the CD will get the CD under separate cover from the Bible itself.

Of course we are still seeking donations for the printing of this and future editions as well as other materials and to fund the work of SANJ and research we are doing in general. There will be some major announcements about projects to produce important study tools coming soon.

We want to thank every contributor that has donated towards the Hebraic Roots Version complete Bible. We have come through this long process of getting the book in the correct order and in the correct language it was meant to be in. That took time. More time then I think we realized. I know everyone must think, "Am I ever going to see my Bible that I donated towards?" YES YOU ARE!! Here is the status on that.

It is AT THE PRINTERS. We are awaiting for its arrival from the printers. It should be about six weeks before it arrives in our hands. I know that a lot of you have heard that before too. But due to circumstances that happened in November and December, which included the death of my husband's mother, we did not communicate with the printers during about six weeks. If you want to know all that happened and why that effected the printing click here to see detailed timeline. We think that if you read the more detailed timeline you will have a better understanding of things and of SANJ for this last year.

The paper has been ordered and it will take about three weeks to get that up and reading for printing. They, as with any printer, do not keep "Bible" paper around, which is a special kind of paper. Since we are ordering a huge amount of books, we had to of course order a huge amount of paper. So much in fact that if you laid all the sheets out, it would stretch from Dallas/Fort Worth Area of Texas, USA to Denver, Colorado, USA and back again!! We also want to make sure everything is laid out right and is correct. That is very important to us. I know that it seems like a long time to a lot, but it has even been longer for us as this has been literally a 10 year project for us! So we are just as anxious as you are.

We will let you know as soon as we have the first set of books in hand. We have a rush order in - which takes six weeks - for a lot of them. Then others will come over the next six weeks or so. But it will be enough to start filling everyone's requests. No mater where you have heard that the Bible is out, it is not just yet. You will hear it here first when the Bible has been released!! If you heard or read that it has been released check back here to this page and see if such a statement exists. If one does not, that means it is not out yet.

Please be patient as it will take time to ship it all out. We will ship as fast as we can. If you DID NOT PROVIDE AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO US you will NOT RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF SHIPMENT. If you have provided an email address then you will receive a notice of shipment. If you would like to provide your email address to us and haven't or are not sure if you have then send an email to donations@nazarene.net titled in the subject line: WANT SHIPMENT NOTICE. Please provide your first and last name and the city and state you ordered from. (Please provide the person who ordered and the person it is to be shipped to if that differs). There are a lot of people out there with the same name so this way it helps identify you.

We are still asking for any donations to help us fund this project. Even if it is $10 here and there anything will help. If you think of someone who might be interested in a bulk order and would like us to contact them then send an email to donations@nazarene.net and let us know. I know it seems like we are always asking for money and we don't like to, but it is a necessary part of getting this wonderful edition of this original work out. So whatever you can do to help - WE GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!
